Dominion is the political geography of heaven — and heaven, it turns out, is as complex and contested as any human empire. Angelic orders hold territories by right of frequency; those who vibrate higher hold more. But the mathematics of spiritual power are strange, and what looks like less is often more.
The Angelic Orders
Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels, Angels — nine orders, each governing a different aspect of manifest reality. Their disagreements about governance have been ongoing for longer than the current universe has existed.
The Council of Light
At the center of Dominion sits the Council of Light — not a ruling body but a resonance chamber where all angelic orders bring their irreconcilable differences to be held in productive tension. Nothing is resolved. Everything is transformed. This is considered sufficient.
